Portrait of David Deupree
18 x 18 x 1.5 inches acrylic and acrylic spray paints, oil paint, gel pen and collage materials on canvas panel
David Deupree has been a good friend of the artist for more than a decade and is currently an adjunct Professor of Neurobiology at California State University Monterey Bay, Seaside, California.
Once Edward secures a venue for exhibiting all twelve to fifteen portraits, he intends to display with each portrait excerpts from the biographical interviews he conducted with these friends. He hopes to include in these excerpts the words each Baby Boomer desires members of later generations to hear and take to heart.
